Why Slow, Mindful Yoga?
We live in a fast paced world and our lives are on the move constantly as is our minds, filled with our 'To-Do' lists and social media content.
Our style of slow, mindful yoga is suitable for most people including beginners. Our goal is to improve breathing, quiet the mind and increase the mind-body-breath connection. A holistic approach to self care.
Yoga, meditation and mindful breathing, will assist your body to trigger the 'rest and digest' phase and help in decreasing anxiety and increasing digestion. Moving slowly builds muscle strength, and improves flexibility and balance and reduces the likelihood of injury.
So Why Not, Slow Mindful Yoga! You are invited to join me for a class.
flow with ease
Flow with Ease is a flowing sequence to build strength and warm the body.
The continuous, smooth and rhythmic pace of the sequence will allow the body to relieve stress and deepen the mind/body/breath connection.
The same or similar sequence will be practiced over a number of sessions to build body awareness and observe your personal growth and change within the practice.

Short pauses within the postures allows the muscles to stretch and strengthen to achieve flexibility and balance.

Note: Variations are offered on some poses to go a little deeper if that is your preference
stretch & breathe

Yoga postures with the assistance of props such as blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets allow your body to slowly increase flexibility and improve strength.
A regular breathing practice benefits the mind, body and spirit.
